Because every child deserves the to opportunity to play baseball.
GREAT NEWS. We broke ground on the field on August 16, 2010 (click here for pictures).
We are still attempting to raise funds for the construction of bathroom facilities
and a shade area for the kids using the field. A final cash campaign was begun on July 1, 2010, with a goal of
raising $100,000 by September 15, 2010. As of August 27, 2010, we had raised $67,500 of our $100,000 goal. To
help make these amenities available please consider a donation. To donate, click here. Thank you.

The Miracle League of Central Minnesota is currently in the process of raising the funds necessary to construct a Miracle
Field for the children with disabilities from central Minnesota at Whitney Park in St. Cloud.
A Miracle Field, is a little league type baseball field that is designed for use by children with disabilities.
The entire field surface is made out of a rubber surface that cushions falls and prevents injury. The field surface
is completely flat without bumps, thereby allowing people using walkers, wheelchairs, and other people with mobility
challenges to use the field. The entrances, exits, and dugouts are designed to accomodate persons with disabilities.

The Miracle Field will allow children with disabilities to participate in organized baseball. Without a Miracle
Field, many of the area youth with disabilities would not be able to participate in organized baseball. Regular
little league fields do not work for the majority of children with disabilities. The construction of a Miracle Field
will allow regional youth with disabilities to have many of the same experiences as their peers. The Miracle League
of Central Minnesota has determined that 7,000 regional youth would meet Miracle League standards.
